Many patrons descended on Basil Sheils last night for the St. Michael's GFC Dinner Dance.
Paul McArdle, County Chairman kindly attended and gave plenty of encouragement for the years ahead. Community, passion and pride are the cornerstones of GAA clubs - and St. Michael's has those qualities in abundance. In order to reach its full potential, it's important that we continue to nurture all the young talent coming through, encouraging more people to participate in club activities and admin, and to keep the community spirit going. We extend thanks to Paul for taking the time out of busy County finals' weekend to join us.
Awards on the night were presented to these worthy recipients :
Most Improved Minor Player of the Year : Kevin O'Malley
Minor Player of the Year : Dylan Vallely
Senior Player of the Year : Darragh Swift
Club Person of the Year : Colleen Swift
Congratulations to all, and a big thank you was extended to all persons who help in any way with the club , from the coaches, sponsor, supporters and anyone helping behind the scenes.
Looking ahead to 2024, our Strictly Come Dancing fundraiser was introduced and the video can be viewed on our Facebook page. Onwards and upwards as we look forward to celebrating the 50th anniversary of the reformed St. Michael's GFC ! Here's a snippet from last night :
