With the penultimate round of League matches this Bank Holiday weekend, there were two in particular that were in focus for our competition entrants.
Louth's goal-fest against Fermanagh not only kept their hopes up of avoiding relegation - their 6-17 to 0-11 victory meant that Colleen Swift, Hannah Lennon & Gerry Fegan made it through to Round 7.
Sharleen Murray exited Last Man Standing as a result, along with Una Hagan when Kildare's inability to score in the second half was punished by the Tir Chonaill men.
The lucky trio will now be looking ahead to the final fixtures next Saturday. Colleen and Hannah have both chosen Kildare, who have yet to register a win in their beleaguered campaign. Whilst they showed a bit of bite about them in short glimpses against Donegal, they'll be facing an uphill battle against Louth.
Gerry has opted for Donegal, who play mid-table Meath - he'll be hoping Jimmy's team keep winning matches so that it's a pay day for him too. It's down to the wire as to who will be the last one standing....
