For the week that's in it and the buzz surrounding the amazing performances by the Irish athletes at the European Championships,  we couldn't ignore the Newtown influence in Rome!

One of our Minor Managers & Committee member, Paul Carragher has been working hard behind the scenes keeping the athletes in top shape for the Championships.  What a brilliant team effort by Atheltics Ireland & the individual athletes to make history this week.  

With the summer looming somewhere amongst the clouds, they're great role models for us all to keep active - especially for our young members seeing their success on the podium.  Massive well done Paul & everyone involved - fantastico!
