The action continued across the age groups last week, with our underage teams getting plenty of game time before they returned to school.

Our U8s played brilliantly away to Killean and their confidence is growing as they play in other grounds.   Our U11 girls had a fantastic time in sunny Camlough attending the U11 Hub in Shane O'Neills.  They played teams from Shamrock Gaels, Shane's, Carrickcruppen and Dromintee, and showed some serious skills.

There was no rest for the U10.5s on Sunday morning, as they participated in the Seamus McWilliams Memorial U10.5 Blitz in Thomas Davis Corrinshego.  There was great football played by our players, and indeed all teams.  Thank you to the players, coaches and parents who support the blitz's.

The U16 Lower Creggan O'Doirnins secured a great win against Dromintee, 3-13 - 2-11.  They're now through to the quarter final of the Championship Shield on Thursday.

All eyes were on the U15 Girls in their Championship Final away to Sarsfields.  The nerves have just about settled after a brilliant match - both teams played excellent football, and it went end to end right to the final whistle.  The girls fought back after being down by 2 points at half-time, and the match will be replayed - time / date TBC.  Keep it up for the replay girls, we're very proud of your efforts!

Not to be left behind, our G4MOs hosted Clady for a second meeting of the teams.  Everyone had great craic, and thank you to the Ladies Committee who helped with refreshments afterwards.  That's what it's all about -  camaraderie, football and a whole pile of fun!  New members welcome.

Good luck to all our teams this week!
