Last week, there was a break in fixtures as many of the teams' season had finished.  The club hosted the inaugural Dylan Vallely Memorial 7 A-side Tournament on 22 September, and it seemed fitting to take a breather to fully appreciate how brilliant, yet bittersweet, a day it was.

There were a number of our teams in action in the last couple of weeks of the season.

The U11 girls, under the direction of Lauren Gibney, had a great evening's football in Mullabrack at their U11 GoGames.  They played the host team and Madden Rapparees, and the feedback was immensely positive - Armagh LGFA take note.

As their first season's end approaches, the G4MOs had a great run-out against Cross in St. Oliver Plunkett Park.  Playing such an experienced and strong opposition has helped the girls to progress with each game.  Their final game will be on Wednesday, playing Culloville at home, before they take a break.  New recruits always welcome - word has it there's a night out planned too!

Our enthusiastic U8s travelled to Whitecross to enjoy some teamwork, showcasing their ball skills and scoring abilities.  The U6s & U8s will have a final training season this Thursday, finishing off with a presentation of Certificates for the '24 Season.  Make sure & come along boys & girls.

Have a good week everyone.
