A hat-trick of goals in the first half by Killeavy IIs made it an uphill battle for our Seniors after the break.  They managed to claw back some momentum, after netting a penalty.  The visitors ran out winners 3-10 to 1-10 to top 3B with a game in hand.  The lads will travel to O'Hanlons in a bid to secure two points, to perhaps salvage the 2nd spot if other results go their way.  All support welcomed folks in Poyntzpass on Friday evening.

Special thanks to our Senior player, Jonjo Powell & his family,  who are this week's MatchBall Sponsor.  It's much appreciated.

Both our Minors and U14 Girls were unlucky to come out the wrong side of their respective fixtures by 3 points.  The boys worked well together, with  Aodhan Casey scoring an exceptional goal.  They were quite unlucky with their chances. Perhaps on another day, they'd have run out victors, but it finished up Naomh Pól 3-11 Newtown Emmetts 2-11.  Thanks to Sineads_Snaps for capturing the action shots, more over on her Facebook page.

The O'Doirnin Blues (pictured) put in an amazing second half performance against Shane O’Neills.  They were faced with a 14 point deficit at half-time, and narrowed that to 3 by the final whistle. It was a great effort and there was no denying the team spirit amongst this group. Keep it up! Shane's ran out winners 7-5 to 4-11.

The U12 Girls remain unbeaten in their Gold League, seeing off Derrynoose.  The future's looking bright for our Michael O'Doirnin Emmetts!

The feedback from our Cúl Camp has been positive, with our underage players keen to put their freshly honed skills into practice. There's a few matches this week to get them back into gear.  Our U14s were back with a bang this evening, seeing off Shamrock Gaels in a goal-fest and showing their resilience & grit following last month's disappointment.

All eyes will be on GAA HQ this Sunday, as our minds will recall the excitement we enjoyed last year in the build up to the All Ireland Final.  It may be Kerry for butter, if Jimmy's bringing Sammy back to Donegal again, or the Kingdom may reign supreme with Donegal 'forgotten'...
Either way, congratulations to our competition winner, Darragh Davidson - who bagged himself 2 tickets to the match & £100 too.  Thanks to everyone who supported this fundraiser for the club's development plans.

Have a good week !
