There's a lull in fixtures around this time of year, and it was our underage girls who were in action last week.

The U16 O'Doirnin Blues played a stormer after taking some time to settle into their match v Grange.  They ran out winners 5-11 to 2-16, bringing them to second place in the Div 5 League table.  The girls will travel to Lurgan on Thursday for their Round 9 tie against Naomh Peadar.  Keep up the good work 👏

On Saturday, our U10 Girls took part in a hub hosted by Killeavy GAC.  By all accounts, the girls were fantastic, especially in their teamwork and shooting.  They enjoyed healthy competition against Killeavy 1 & 2, Mullaghbawn and Crossmaglen, in what was a great opportunity for them to have a run-out. Thanks to Killeavy for the invite and for hosting a well-run hub, and to the coaches for assisting on the day.

In other news, the draw for the Junior Championship was made yesterday.  We join An Port Mór, Eire Og and our parish neighbours, Dorsey Emmets in Group C, with fixtures to be confirmed.  Stay tuned !
