With August winding up, the Junior Football Championship has now reached the Play-off stages.  Our Seniors overcame Dorsey in Round 3 in a low scoring, physical encounter.  A number of players got on the scoreboard, in a win of 0-12 to 0-10.  We wish Conor and Pearse all the best as they recover from their respective injuries.

Next up is Clady tomorrow in Ballymacnab with a Q/F place up for grabs, throw in at 4pm!  Get behind the lads and purchase your ticket online.

Elsewhere, our U14s have made it 2 wins from 2 in their League Cup fixtures.  They saw off Carrickcruppen 5-08 to 2-13, and this week had one point to spare over Shane O'Neills, 5-05 to 4-07.  Brilliant stuff lads!

Also on winning ways are our Minors, who put in a great performance against Shane O’Neills in their Shield Semi-final.  They ran out winners 8-14 to 4-07.  Thanks to Sineads_Snaps for the brilliant photos as usual, have a look at her Facebook page for all the action photos.  Their Final opponents will be Eire Óg next Sunday 7th September.

The U14 O'Doirnin Blues girls were unfortunate against a strong Shane O'Neills side in their Div 4 Championship clash, losing on a scoreline of 6-13 to 2-05.

In the Shield Semi-final, our U16 Newtown Emmetts O'Doirnins fell short against Shane O’Neills.  They had a nervy start, before registering a score with 10 minutes gone. The lads settled a bit, with the teams exchanging scores until a goal from Noah McArdle put them ahead by 3 at the break.  The second half was similar. The teams exchanged scores and the lads were in front by a point right up until the last 8 minutes. A few things just didn't go our way and Shane's finished strongly on their own turf scoring 3 unanswered points to win by 2.  Final score 1-13 to 2-08.  Hard luck boys.

Asides from Shane's, our underage teams had  brilliant opposition from Oram in some GoGames.  Our U6s, U8s and U10s boys and girls had a great evening in Dorsey, showing brilliant teamwork and sharp shooting, not to mention the timely tackling!  These age groups have come on leaps and bounds this year 👏  Thank you to Oram for the evening's action.

Good luck to our Seniors tomorrow  🔵 ⚪️
