Despite the dark night and chilly weather, the club was full on Wednesday evening for the underage Presentation.
It was great to see our Newtown Emmets players with their families, picking up their Certificates and goody bags after their sterling efforts all year. Thanks to Una, Helen C & Sinead for organising the treats and to Helen G for helping serve tea & biscuits to the attendees.
Our Underage Coaching Officer, Eoin Carragher gave a run through of the year, noting the huge efforts made by coaches to organise training / matches, and parents & guardians to ensure the players got to where they needed to be. Every player had the opportunity to play in matches across South Armagh with different opposition to put those skills into practice.
The U14 Division 4 League Champions were presented with their medals, together with their Championship runners-up medals too. Eoin encouraged them to push on in the higher Division next year. With their strong team bond and dedication to training, there's nothing stopping them from getting better, stronger and fitter to build on this year's success 💪
