Our Night at the Races never fails to stirrup the craic, and Saturday was no different.

There were broken hearts with fallers at the various hurdles, and some smug winners as their horse beat the favourites!

In our Auction Race, John McVerry's horse saw off the challenge from Fergal Davidson & Aidy Swift to run out as winner.  Again, we are indebted to those who supported our Auction Race.

We thank Gerard of GG Racenights for facilitating the Races, and Swiftys Newtownhamilton for hosting the event.   We are overwhelmed by everyone's generosity - from our Race Sponsors (named in the poster below), those who purchased a Horse, those who attended & chanced their luck with the betting, and those who donated winnings to the club. 

It is much appreciated and all funds raised will be put to good use in the months ahead.

Club Chairman, Aidy Swift also paid tribute to our late Chairman & friend, Magee with it being our first Night at the Races without him.  He was there in spirit for sure.
