Our U14 Newtown-Emmets O'Doirnins had a brilliant opener to their Division 3 League, overcoming Culloville convincingly.
The girls came up against a strong St. Colmcille's Grange side in the LGFA U14 League, played in tough conditions in Forkhill. The score line didn't reflect the girls' efforts in an entertaining and competitive encounter. We go again girls, keep it up!
This week, our Seniors have two outings as they hope to build on their hard fought win over Collegeland in round 1. First up, they travel to Corrinshego, before welcoming Lissummon to Newtown on Sunday. We hope to see plenty of support for the lads, and our tuck shop will be available for refreshments at Sunday's match.
Thank you to Newtown Together Men's Shed, who have kindly sponsored Wednesday's Match Ball. Pictured is Pete Haughey with our Senior player, Aidan Davidson. ⚪️ 🔵
Good luck to all of our teams this week 💪
